Residential Care For Children & Youth
LSS provides treatment for children and youth who have significant mental health, behavior and possible legal issues. LSS cares for children and youth who cannot function in their home environments and who are out of control and disruptive in their schools and communities. LSS provides 24-hour care for boys and girls ages 10 to 17 through psychiatric residential treatment, intensive residential treatment and group care programs.
Each program offers services as unique as its setting. Locations include Canyon Hills Center, Spearfish; New Beginnings Center, Aberdeen; Summit Oaks I, Sioux Falls; and Summit Oaks II, Sioux Falls.
