One of the quickest ways to improve your relationship is to begin implementing effective communication techniques with your student. Active listening, paraphrasing, and maintaining positive body language are common strategies most of us are familiar with, but there are other things mentors can do to improve the flow of communication. This session will look at the underlying reasons why many students struggle with communication as well as exploring specific language and communication techniques you can use to improve your relationship.
