LSS offers a generous leave policy due to illness or injury of the employee or immediate family. Each employee earns a percentage of every hour paid with a maximum of 96 hours per year.

The balance can accrue up to 480 hours. Extended sick leave begins on the second day and continues to all subsequent days of the illness or injury.
