Making A Decision, Adoptive Parent Services
LSS will guide you through the adoption process every step of the way. LSS has a tradition of adoption services expertise. For many years, Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota has helped bring together children and families by coordinating adoption services. Elements to making a good decision include:
- attending educational workshops on adoption
- conducting a home study
- meeting people who have adopted, who have been adopted and birth parents
- learning about adopting children from different cultures
- participating in support groups
