Housing & Storage Resources
A list of available housing, land and storage resources is posted on the City of Pierre and City of Ft. Pierre websites as well as by calling the Volunteer Service Center at 605-224-1189.

Cleanup
The Army Corps of Engineers has announced the amount of water being released should start to decrease and be down to 135,000 cfs by July 22. The Volunteer Service Center will continue to be operational to coordinate volunteer cleanup efforts. This will include coordinated clean up weekends with many VOAD partners. Currently, LSS Disaster Response is developing a Clean-Up Curriculum to assist in training volunteers in this process.

Case Management
Case management services will be offered by August 1 to assist families with immediate needs. This will be done through LSS Disaster Case Management and LSS Consumer Credit Counseling Services.

Long Term Recovery, LTR
LSS will participate actively in all LTR teams across the state of South Dakota. Currently, there are teams formed in Pierre, Ft. Pierre and Union County. All other impacted counties from Hughes/Stanley County down the river to Union County will be provided initial case management by an LSS case manager located in Pierre.
