ESL Classes
Classes are free to refugees and immigrants. Four levels of instruction are available based on English language ability. Levels of instruction are from beginning to advanced. Each level of instruction consists of an oral language skills component and a literacy skills component.
Oral ESL classes focus on listening, speaking, pronunciation and grammar. Emphasis is on using oral English language skills for everyday American life and culture.
ESL Literacy classes focus on reading, writing, spelling and grammar. Emphasis is on the study of written English language, American culture and life skills.
