Financial Counseling & Education
Consumer Credit Counseling (CCCS) strives to be a trusted, local source of financial solutions for everyday people. CCCS provides the tools to help consumers become better money managers through counseling and education services. Financial counseling provides the opportunity to address individual financial issues or concerns in a private confidential setting. A certified credit counselor will review the client's current financial position including income, expenses, debt and current goals. Certified credit counselors will help the client review their options and map out an action plan to address their needs and achieve their goals.
Financial counseling and education is offered in all CCCS locations. Trained staff provide the opportunity to learn about financial resources and current events in a group setting. Our staff welcomes the invitation to provide education opportunities to employers, congregations, service organization and many others.

Credit Report Review
A Credit Report Review is an education-focused consultation that helps clients understand their credit report and build a strong score. Consumers are encouraged to access their free credit reports below and bring it to the appointment. A CCCS certified credit counselor will review the reports in a private consultation and will address the specific needs of the individual.
Discussion topics may include understanding credit reporting methods and scoring, correcting errors, protection against identity theft, effective use of credit, money management strategies that build strong reports and scores, and debt repayment strategies.
