Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of Lutheran Social Services is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services. COA partners with human service organizations worldwide to improve service delivery outcomes by developing, applying and promoting accreditation standards. COA envisions excellence in the delivery of human services globally, resulting in the well-being of individuals, families and communities.
In addition, Consumer Credit Counseling Service is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). The NFCC promotes the national agenda for financially responsible behavior and builds capacity for its members to deliver the highest quality financial education and counseling services. NFCC members can be identified by the NFCC member seal. This seal signifies high standards for agency accreditation, counselor certification and policies that ensure free or low-cost confidential services.
CCCS is a HUD Certified Housing Counseling Agency. HUD - U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development - mission is to increase homeownership, support community development and increase access to affordable housing free from discrimination.
