Brookings Businessman Wins Get Cyc'ed Grand Prize!

Congratulations to Brookings Team Captain and LSS Foundation Board Member Kurt Osborne on winning the Grand Prize Drawing for a new Gary Fisher Tassajara Mountain Bike donated by Sioux Falls Scheels.

Five people qualified for the drawing by raising more than $200 in gifts and pledges. The winner’s name was drawn at random. Because of many riders & sponsors, the 2008 Get Cyc'ed fundraising event was a success.

More than 170 riders participated in the three events raising more than $17,000 to benefit those whom LSS serves. Everyone received a Get Cyc'ed t-shirt and all bikers turning in pledges more than $200 were eligible for the grand prize drawing.

Watch for upcoming Get Cyc'ed event dates scheduled in 2009. It will be fun and there will be lots of opportunities for prizes. Once again, awards will be given for the following:

team raising the most funds
individual raising the most funds
team riding the most miles
individual riding the most miles

LSS is licensed by the State of South Dakota and accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services. LSS is a United Way agency.
