Adoptive Parent Services

LSS provides on-going education and support meetings throughout the year including an annual picnic in late summer for all adoptive families associated with LSS.

LSS values the importance of providing on-going support and guidance before, during and after the completion of an adoption. Our services and support are available to families when needed relating to adoption issues.

There are local adoptive parent support groups who also offer support and guidance to any family in the adoption process. Please ask your LSS social worker about groups in your area. Additional resources recommended include:
