It is part of the LSS strategic plan to assist South Dakota communities in providing affordable housing for low to moderate-income families and seniors. For struggling families and seniors alike, housing is a key element in maintaining self-sufficiency and experiencing fullness of life.

With a variety of partnerships and resources, LSS currently operates apartment complexes in four South Dakota communities. Similar projects are being negotiated in other communities. For more information specific to each location, please see the menu to the left.
