LSS cares for, supports and strengthens individuals, families and communities through a variety of counseling services offered statewide.
Individuals benefit from out-patient counseling or through Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Families benefit from specific family-based services as well as out-patient counseling. Communities benefit from disaster relief and rural ministries.
LSS Counseling Centers are strategically located throughout South Dakota. Counselors provide effective services in a confidential environment. Service delivery formats are determined by client needs and include individual, couple, family or group counseling.
Counseling is available to help people of all ages, faiths and economic levels to effectively solve problems, strive for emotional health, and strengthen their lives.
Licensed Professional Staff
LSS therapists are licensed professional counselors, licensed social
workers and licensed marriage and family therapists. The LSS counseling
team also includes psychologists, psychiatrists and certified chemical
dependency counselors. LSS has achieved accreditation through the Council
on Accreditation
for Children and Family Services and meets their rigorous standards.
