Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota

This service is ordered by the court when divorcing or divorced parents contest or can not agree on child custody arrangements. The evaluator serves as an advocate for the child(ren). The parents, references and other persons identified by the parents are interviewed. In addition, a home study of the living arrangements of both parents is completed. The evaluator makes a written recommendation to the court in regards to custody and visitation arrangements.
