Management Services
Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota Refugee and Immigration Programs provide case management service to all refugees that have been in the United States up to five years from their arrival date and are not yet United States citizens. Services include assistance with removal of barriers to employment, education, medical, housing, transportation or many of the other barriers to self-sufficiency. All services are provided in a manner that is linguistically and culturally appropriate through the use of bilingual/bicultural staff or interpreters. Case management is the key component of successful resettlement for refugees resettling in the United States. Case management is the service that binds all other available services together. Case management provides refugees with the necessary resources to reach the ultimate goal of family self-sufficiency.
