New Beginnings Center is a coeducational residential care center licensed to serve 24 children, ages 10 to 17, with behavioral, emotional and educational problems.

New Beginnings Center has a long-standing partnership with the Aberdeen community and Bethlehem Lutheran Church. New Beginnings Center, established in 1974, merged with Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota in 1991. New Beginnings Center serves children who need emergency shelter, transitional care and long term group care.

New Beginnings Center is licensed by the South Dakota Department of Social Services and accredited by the Council On Accreditation For Children and Family Services.
