Summit
Oaks Center
Summit Oaks Center is a coeducational residential treatment center licensed
to serve 25 children ages 10 to 17, with emotional, behavioral, and educational
problems.
Located in Sioux Falls, Summit Oaks Center offers a comprehensive therapeutic
program with both on-campus and community based education. The urban
location also offers easy access to extensive community resources.
Summit Oaks Center began its service history in 1920, helping unwed
mothers and children at the Lutheran House of Mercy. The name and focus
of programming have changed over the past 80 years to reflect the present
mission of fulfilling the needs of children.
