Woodfield
Center
Woodfield Center is a co-educational residential treatment center licensed
to serve 40 children, ages 10 to 17, with behavioral, emotional, and
educational problems.
Located in a serene, rural setting, Woodfield Center offers a comprehensive
treatment program with both on-campus and community-based educational
programming. A spacious campus, including a park, tennis court, horseback
riding and sports area, encourages diverse therapeutic recreational opportunities.
Woodfield Center, formerly Bethesda Children's Home, has been helping
children for more than 100 years. Beginning in 1896 as an orphanage,
children learned responsibilities and values in a farm environment.
Today, Woodfield Center continues the tradition of helping children,
with gender-separate cottages designed to complement the therapeutic
environment and expand the Center's commitment to quality services.
