This Campaign Changes Lives

The Campaign for Hope is already having a major impact in the lives of many South Dakotans with the creation of the Campus on East Bank. In spring 2016, LSS completed a Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Community Appeals Campaign—raising more than $1.25 million from the Sioux Falls business community.

This, along with more than $460,000 pledged from our Governing and Foundation Board of Directors and more than $150,000 committed by LSS staff, ensured the Campaign for Hope began in spectacular fashion. In April 2017, the Center for New Americans relocated to the first floor of the Campus on East Bank. The new location provides much needed classroom, office and reception space with an upgraded sense of professionalism and welcome.

Campaign for Hope Phase Two — $2,200,000

Phase two of the Campaign for Hope will provide the final $2.2 million that will set the course for a second century of serving South Dakota. Your support will fund much needed capital investments in Aberdeen, Rapid City and Spearfish, as well as completing the remodel and financing of the Campus on East Bank. The Campaign for Hope also will honor the hope of our founding by establishing an Endowment for Sustainable Families.

These days it seems that no one cares, and those most in need are neglected. LSS is there for those in need, and because they lovingly care.
