Volunteer Application Form
Effective volunteer matching procedures improve the quality of the volunteer experience for participants and maximize the agency and its client’s ability to benefit from volunteers. Individuals expressing an interest in volunteering are provided information on the agency and its programs. All volunteers complete a volunteer application and are matched in a volunteer position based on their interests, motivations for volunteering, availability, skills, and the needs of the agency. Information used in the matching process is collected from application forms, telephone conversations and/or interviews with agency staff.
